Darroch Tomb  in Gourock ( Darroch ) Park  Duncan Darroch, who made his fortune in Jamaica,  built Gourock House  ( demolished in the mid-20th century ). The land around it was subsequently  given to the town as Darroch Park.  A walled garden remains and other facilities  include a pet's corner,  bowling club, tennis courts, two grass football pitches,  a cricket square, and a pavilion. Gourock( Darroch ) Park is close to the town centre.  The Gourock Highland Games take place here.
